Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, including Ghana Labour Act 651
• Manage employee relations and promote cross-cultural team integration
• Rapidly establish and scale recruitment systems to meet pre-opening and expansion needs
Qualification Required & Experience
• Fluent in English, proficiency in French or local languages (Twi, Ga) is a plus
• 5+ years of HR experience in hotels across Africa or other emerging markets
• Familiarity with Opera HR systems
• In-depth knowledge of Ghanaian social security, taxation, and union negotiation processes preferred
• Desired traits
• Strong stress management and adaptability to high staff turnover
• High cultural sensitivity in managing both local and expatriate teams
