Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across the IGCSE Business syllabus
  • Prepare students for success in their Papers.
  • Integrate ethics, sustainability, and Christian values into teaching practice.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies including case studies, simulations, and digital tools.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, assessments, and enrichment activities.
  • Support students pastorally and help foster a culture of integrity, responsibility, and innovation.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching Business at IGCSE or similar level.
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and Christian education principles is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of international business concepts and real-world application.
  • Excellent command of the Cambridge IGCSE assessment objectives.
  • Confident classroom management and differentiated instruction techniques.
  • Competence in using technology and digital platforms to enhance learning.
  • Clear and professional communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to model Christian values such as integrity, diligence, and respect.
