ABOUT SHERISE TECHNOLOGY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME
Sherise is a women-led NGO empowering female entrepreneurs across Accra and its suburbs. Our newly furnished office hosts co-working, training, and community events. We’re looking for a warm, driven, and resourceful individual to bring our space to life, grow membership, and coordinate community-driven events.
JOB PURPOSE
The Community & Office Manager will be Sherise’s key driver and responsible for:
- Building a welcoming, vibrant environment where members connect, collaborate, and grow.
- Marketing and selling coworking packages, workshops, and events.
- Managing day-to-day operations of the space to ensure smooth functionality.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Engagement & Member Relations
- Welcome new members, conduct tours, onboard them, and manage member inquiries.
- Facilitate connections between community members ; proactively introduce, match, and network.
- Organize events—both paid (workshops, trainings) and free (networking brunches, peer support meet-ups) to build engagement.
- Gather and act on member feedback to continuously improve the space and experience.
Sales & Business Development
- Actively sell-coworking packages (daily, monthly, and event rentals) via walk-ins, calls, and tours.
- Plan and execute outreach to local organizations (women’s groups, NGOs, trainers) to attract event bookings.
- Track sales performance, update member management system, and report metrics monthly.
Operations & Facilities Management
- Oversee the upkeep of communal areas, connectivity (Wi‑Fi), utilities, and general cleanliness.
- Coordinate cleaning schedules, minor repairs, and facility maintenance.
- Manage resource allocation—meeting rooms, garden bookings, workspace desk usage.
Marketing & Digital Outreach
- Collaborate with Sherise’s Social Media Manager to create promotional posts and newsletters.
- Maintain the space’s presence on digital platforms, drive engagement, and promote upcoming events.
- Develop basic flyers or promo materials for workshops and space rental offers.

Required Skills or Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree in either Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or any other related discipline from an accredited tertiary institution.
- 2 years relevant experience in community management, hospitality, events, marketing, or coworking operations.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; warm and approachable.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Comfortable with digital tools: Google Workspace, social media, basic CRM or booking platforms.
- Sales mindset: ability to convert inquiries to bookings and meet occupancy targets.
- Passion for women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, and community-building.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of local language (Twi) is a plus.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented professional.
