Scope of Role

We are currently looking for an Office Assistant to join our growing team. Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms.
  • Operate office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
  • Serve as the receptionist for the office, receiving visitors.
  • Copy, sort, and file records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters.
  • Prepare letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.
  • Sort incoming mail and deliver to the appropriate department or individual and process outgoing mail.
  • Maintain filing systems either manually or electronically.
  • Manage calendars and schedules appointments.
  • Setup up office for meetings 
  • Ensure the office is clean and well kept
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications

  • HND in Secretaryship & Management, Marketing, Accounting or related fields
  • Completed National Service
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-organize effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent writing skills – strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Flexibility and the capacity to prioritize new tasks.
