Job Description
The Account Officer will be responsible for maintaining the organisation’s financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments, and tracking expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
Key duties include but are not limited to;
- Managing accounts payable/receivable; financial record keeping; expense management; billing and collections; reconciliation; financial reporting; cash and bank management.
- Ensure compliance with organisation and project policies, guidelines/protocols, plans and timelines.
- Prepare and present reports on activities and any other duties that may be assigned
Required Skills or Experience
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and work in various field conditions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite and in accounting software such as QuickBooks,
- Data collection and analysis
- Report writing
