Job Description

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting operational efficiency. The role involves handling accounting records, processing transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring adherence to statutory and tax compliance requirements. 

Responsibilities

  • Petty cash disbursement and entries in Evolution for posting.
  • Reconciling bank to cash book of all bank accounts.
  • Prepare a weekly report on all cash received and disbursed.
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned by the Financial Controller or Accounts Manager from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience

Education

HND in Accounting

Skills or Experience

  • 4 to 8 years experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel 
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skill.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team.
  • Good record keeping skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge in Organisational Health & Safety is an advantage.
