We are seeking a Forklift Operator who is all responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods and materials within the warehouse or distribution center. This role involves operating forklifts, managing inventory, verifying inventory, and collaborating with warehouse staff to ensure operation goals. We seek a highly organized and efficient person who will provide collaborative support, ensure safety compliance, and provide exceptional results.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate forklift equipment: Safely operate forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse or distribution center.
- Conduct inventory movement: Plan and coordinate the movement of inventory to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
- Maintain warehouse organization: Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Verify inventory counts: Check inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
- Ensure safety compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s & GCE’s/Diploma in Machine operations, or related field.
- 2 years of experience operating forklifts in industrial settings (Warehouses, Production, Ports, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- A certified forklift operator license
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with Ghanaian taxes laws and regulations.Requirements
