Job Description

In this role, the Regional Manager shall:

  • Provide leadership and oversight to all branches within the Northern Belt.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across programmes, finance, HR, and IT.
  • Oversee planning and execution of regional goals, ensuring alignment with CFC’s mission.
  • Monitor performance, quality of interventions, and impact using quantitative and qualitative data-driven methods.
  • Supervise and mentor Branch Coordinators; conduct periodic performance evaluations.
  • Oversee regional budgets and resource allocation, ensuring efficient and effective use.
  • Ensure branches are adequately equipped (HR, tools, training, and risk frameworks) and maximize resource use to meet targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regional government agencies, companies, non-profit partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct periodic visits to branches to provide technical and leadership support.
  • Ensure compliance with national regulations and all organizational policies.
  • Champion innovative and sustainable solutions that foster self-reliance among families and communities.

Required Skills or Experience

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Social work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).
  • At least 5 years of experience leading medium- to large-sized teams in social development or child protection programs.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and complex operations.
  • Strong understanding of migration, street children’s dynamics, and national and international social protection systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of local languages is a plus).
  • Strategic Thinking: Align teams and programs with long-term organizational impact.
  • Partnership Building: Establish and build partnerships that benefit street children.
  • Digital & Media Literacy: Be adept with the use of technology to enhance work. 
  • Operational Oversight: Lead goal setting, planning, and efficient execution of programs in the Northern Belt.
  • Cultural Intelligence: Design of contextually relevant programmes for diverse children, youth, families, and communities.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Track KPIs, measure impact, and report results effectively.
  • Abstract and Systems Thinking: Ability to tailor solutions to the needs, developments, and emerging trends of street children.
  • Policy Literacy & Advocacy: Ability to engage with national frameworks to influence systems change.
  • Sustainability Focus: Drive long-term, community-led impact and self-reliance.
