The Food Science Technology Program is a skilled work opportunity designed for graduates in Food Science and related disciplines.
This program gives graduates in Food Science and related fields the chance to gain paid international work experience in Germany’s growing food processing and technology industry. It’s a great opportunity to work with modern equipment, learn advanced methods, and grow your career in a global environment.
This program operates under the German Federal Foreign Office’s visa category for skilled workers with a university degree. Under this framework, skilled professionals from non-EU countries (including those outside Liechtenstein, Iceland, Norway, and Switzerland) are eligible to apply for a residence permit to take up gainful employment in Germany, provided they meet the required qualifications and conditions.

NOTE:

Food Science and Technology, Food Science and Nutrition, Dairy and Meat Science Technology, Agro Processing, Food Science Technology, Food Processing Technology, or Food Processing Engineering.
Please note that eligibility is based on your main degree major. If your program only included one or two of these courses as part of your studies — but not as your primary field — unfortunately, you would not be eligible for this program.
Commitment Fee – €200 (approx. GHS 3,000)
Before submitting your documents, a non-refundable commitment fee is required.
This fee isn’t paid to us directly — it’s held only as a penalty if you decide to withdraw after receiving a job offer.
It helps cover the time and effort our European partners spend securing your placement.
For your convenience, payments can be made through authorized institutional coordinators.
We have institutional coordinators in all universities that offer these programs in Ghana. If you have any concerns about dealing with us directly, you may contact us to obtain the contact information of your institutional coordinator before proceeding.
Many applicants choose this option as it offers added assurance and transparency throughout the process.

How the Process Works
a. Document Review & Profile Building
Nezaplus Consult will go through your documents carefully, polish your CV, and make your profile stand out to potential employers.
b. Partner Review & Interview
Your profile will then be shared with our recruitment partners in Europe. Some candidates are invited for a short, simple online interview — though not everyone goes through this stage.
c. Placement Stage
After review, your profile will be added to the employment list for selection by companies looking for suitable candidates.
d. Contract Issuance
Most applicants receive a job contract within 1–2 months. Once your contract is ready for signing, you need to make 50% payment of the total cost of the process.
- Qualification verification
- Processing and documentation fees
- Partial partner and administrative costs
- Work permit and travel health insurance
e. After Visa Approval
Once your visa is approved, a final payment is being made to complete your process.
This fee covers all major expenses — including profile review, document preparation, qualification evaluation, work permit processing, foreign partners’ fees, insurance, embassy charges, and pre and post-visa support.
Please note that the flight ticket is not included.
