Job Description
English Language and Literature Teacher required to
- Teach and provide learning opportunities in English Language and Literature for pupils in the in the Common Core Programme (JHS).
- Plan the effective teaching and learning of English Language and Literature for pupils in the Common Core Programme (JHS),
Required Skills or Experience
- BEd in English or similar qualification
- Must have completed their National Service
- A minimum of three years of Post Qualification experience in a similar setting (ie a Private Christian Primary and JHS School). More experienced candidates with managerial or administrative experience as a Head of Department or similar position, are especially welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum.
- A good written and spoken command of the English Language
- Should be able to demonstrate Critical Thinking skills
- ICT proficiency
- Be able to participate in all aspects of school activities
Will be required to set a good example in terms of punctuality, attendance, behaviour and dress to enhance the School’s reputation and standing with parents and pupils.
