JOB SUMMARY

The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Logistics Officer and ensures effective logistics, supply chain, fleet, asset, and administrative management in support of the SHARE Project. The role involves planning, coordination, and oversight of procurement, stores, and safety/security, while working closely with the Project Manager, Finance, and Program teams.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management (50%): Coordinates procurement, vendor relations, fleet, asset, and warehouse management to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of goods/services while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting program implementation.
  • Administration (20%): Oversees safekeeping and filing of procurement, asset, fleet, and warehouse documents; tracks orders, manages staff transport, and ensures proper logistics systems are in place.
  • Rehabilitation Project Management (10%): Manages technical and scheduling aspects of rehabilitation projects, coordinating with consultants/contractors and providing regular updates to management.
  • Safety and Security (10%): Supervises security staff, enforces safety protocols, monitors local security conditions, attends INGO meetings, and coordinates evacuation procedures if required.
  • Team Management (5%): Builds logistics team (Drivers and cleaner) capacity, conducts regular trainings, ensures effective communication, and completes performance appraisals.
  • Other Duties (5%): Performs additional responsibilities as assigned to support program and office operations.

Required Skills or Experience
  • Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in management, Logistics, Administration, or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years’ logistics/procurement experience at national or international level.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure with integrity and attention to detail; team management and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of procurement systems and fleet management; familiarity with safety/security management.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and local languages.
