Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
The successful applicant shall be responsible for recruiting and managing mobile, FBB and Fixed Voice and Data Sales teams, that is sales contractors and freelancers in assigned regions.
The role reports to the SME Regional Manager.
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Leads the sales executives to achieve sales and varied commercial targets.
- Coordinates all sales operations-related activities in assigned regions and guides the sales team on on-the-ground day-to-day activities
- Assists and advises key stakeholders on the structure and development of commercial strategies to maximise business profitability.
- Develops and drives indirect channel strategic plan.
- Develops route to market strategy and extracts value from existing corporate relationships.
- Attends customer visits and coordinates sales team negotiations in line with business principles.
- Ensures customers are served on time in line with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills or Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably Telecom/Business Management/B. Com
- Postgraduate business qualification.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in mid-management level.
- Proven experience in customer-facing environments. Computer Literate in excel and powerpoint.
- Proven sales experience Telecoms/IT-related service experience.
