Generation Google Scholarship 2025
The Institute of International Education (IIE) is pleased to announce scholarship opportunities for international students interested in pursuing undergraduate programs in Canada or the United States.
Why You Should Apply For The Generation Google Scholarship
Selected students will receive 10,000 USD (for those studying in the US) or 5,000 CAD (for those studying in Canada) for the 2025-2026 school year.
Eligibility Requirements for Generation Google Scholarship
To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelors program at an accredited university or college OR currently enrolled as a high school senior for the 2024-2025 academic year
- Intend to be enrolled in or accepted as a full-time student in a Bachelors program at an accredited university in the United States or Canada for the 2025-2026 academic year
- Be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field
- Demonstrate leadership
- Demonstrate a strong academic record
- Demonstrate financial need
- Children of Google employees are NOT eligible to apply
Documents Required for Application
You will be asked to complete an online application which includes:
- General background information (e.g. contact information and details about your current and intended universities)
- Family and household information
- Resume/CV
- Two letters of recommendation
- Academic transcripts from your current institution (and prior, if applicable)
- Responses to short answer essay questions
