The Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS), the system used by the GES for verifying and placing students, was announced again in 2023.
The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced to students, staff, parents/guardians and stakeholders that this year’s School Placement exercise begins with verifying students’ school choices.
This verification process aims to ensure accuracy in students’ choice information before they are placed in their selected Second Cycle Schools.
The CSSPS School Verification Process 2023
CSSPS will send a text message to students and their parents or guardians with a link to the online portal (https://csspsverify.com) and a USSD short code number (*899*88#) that contains a 4-digit token number.
The verification exercise commenced on Saturday, 14th January, 2023 and it is expected to come to an end on Sunday, 22nd January 2023.
After their selection details are provided along with a copy of the original selection form, students who believe their initial selection may have been incorrect should call 0556541525 or use the web portal’s edit button.
Students have the liberty to also send an email with a copy of the original selection form to cssps2021@gmail.com.
Note:
This exercise is NOT to change schools but to confirm the initial choices selected.
