When Will NSMQ 2022 One-Eighth Stage Balloting Take Place?
The final day of Preliminary Stage contests will determine which schools progress to the One-eighth Stage. After the last contest today, Thursday, October 13, 2022 the balloting for One-eighth Stage contests will take place. So far, 30 schools have already joined the 27 seeded schools for the One-Eighth Stage Contest.
The annual National Science and Math Quiz Championship began with preliminary competitions on Monday, October 10.
On the first day of the preliminary stage, 24 schools battled to advance to the one-eighth round.

Preliminary Stage, First Day of Contests
At the end of the first day of contests, nine schools booked a place at the One-eighth Stage and a few others remained hopeful that by the end of the Preliminary Stage, they would progress as part of the 15 Top Runners-up.

Preliminary Stage, Second Day Of Contests
After an eventful second day, 12 schools advance to the next round, while others await the results of the remaining fixtures to determine their fate.
The preliminary stage of the NSMQ may not be the final contest for most of these schools this year, including those that lost on Monday and Tuesday and those that will lose in the upcoming days.
After a tally, approximately 15 schools with high marks who did not win will be given the opportunity to compete in the eighth stage.

Since T.I. Amass withdrew from NSMQ 2022, they won’t be competing in the early morning contest against Kumasi High School, T.I. Amass Kumasi, and Samuel Otu Presby SHS.
