The University of Oregon ICSP Scholarships for International Students 2023 is Open.
The University of Oregon is pleased to provide a number of waiver scholarships through the International Cultural Service Program (ICSP). These scholarships are intended for international students who can prove financial need. The successful candidates will receive a waiver award of up to $30,000.

Details of Scholarship
International students who demonstrate financial need and exceptional merit may apply for the International Cultural Service Program (ICSP). Selected ICSP students receive a $25,000 tuition-waiver scholarship which covers approximately 60% of the cost of tuition and about 40% of the total estimated expense for one academic year including tuition, fees, insurance and living expenses.
The ICSP scholarship is renewable each year to completion of a UO degree, provided the student follows the requirements of the ICSP program. ICSP students agree to complete 66-80 hours per year of cultural service as required by the program. Cultural service can include speaking or giving demonstrations to schools or community groups about the heritage and culture of your country or participating in international events on campus.
The following criteria are used to select successful candidates:
- Demonstrated financial need
- Experience participating in cultural activities
- Demonstrated performance and presentation skills
- Strong academic records
- Strong communication skills

Eligibility
To be eligible, please ensure to meet the criteria as follow:
- Applicants must be admissible or fully admitted to the University of Oregon. New students must apply for admission to the UO.
- Applicants cannot be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or eligible to receive U.S. federal financial assistance.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet the minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA requirement
- ICSP students agree to complete 80 hours per year of cultural service as required by the program.

How To Apply University of Oregon ICSP Scholarships for International Students
Applications and supporting materials must be submitted to International Affairs on or before the deadline below. Documents sent to the Admissions Office will not be accepted for your ICSP application.
