GFA has promised not to release the Black Stars squad for the World Cup Play-off against Nigeria as a surprise strategy.

Ghana Football Association (GFA) would not reveal the Black Stars team ahead of their playoff encounter against Nigeria according to reports.

According to other reports, one local player would be named to the Black Stars’ roster for the match against Nigeria. Dennis Korsah is the caller. Due to Baba’s injuries, he’s been called in.

Goalkeepers Ibrahim Danlad of Asante Kotoko SC and Richard Attah of Hearts of Oak have been left out of Ghana’s roster for the next World Cup play-off.

According to GHANAsoccernet.com, the two will not be included in the Black Stars’ roster that will face Nigeria later this month. Goalkeepers for the play-off will be Swindon Town’s Joseph Wollacott, Richard Ofori, and Belgium’s Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, according to the German-based coach.

This season, Attah and Ibrahim have been brilliant in the Ghana Premier League, and fans were hoping to see at least one of them face the Super Eagles in Ghana.

For the games against the Super Eagles, interim coach Otto Addo is expected to provide debut invitations to eight players.
