The position of programme officer -WASH is currently available at IRC Ghana.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
- Undertake project management with partners
- Undertake field-level activities of projects in the Ahafo Region
- Support to undertake research and studies
- Support learning and knowledge management at the district and regional level – District and Regional Learning Alliance Platforms

- Submit quality and timely reports on project implementation
- Support business development and fundraising
- Submit quality and timely reports for the IRC reporting
- Manage the District Hub office
Qualification Required & Experience
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of relevant professional experience, an additional qualification will be an added advantage
- Good basic knowledge and understanding of the main concepts and trends in the water, sanitation and hygiene (Wash) sector
- Relevant experience of research (Design, data analysis and report writing) and policy analysis
- Demonstrate experience learning and knowledge management and networking
- Proven field work coordination experience
- Fluent in English and preferable one local language and good writing skills
- Willing to work in a district and travel nationally and internationally
- Experience in working in a district is an added advantage
- Understanding of project management will be an added advantage

Contract Period
The candidate will initially be oferred a one-year contract with six-months probation period. The contract is renewable subject to good performance
