NSMQ 2022 Semifinals Contests.

The National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) semi-finals are slated for Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the Saarah-Mensah Auditorium, KNUST.

Here are the schools that have successfully qualified from the Quarterfinal Stage of the NSMQ2022 to the Semi-Finals.

Prempeh College continue their title defense in the Semifinals where they will face Presby SHS, Abetifi and Mfantsipim School.

Over the years, schools from the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo regions have hardly made an impact in the National Championship of the National Science and Maths Quiz. However, St. James Seminary in the Bono Regional Capital, Sunyani, is steadily rewriting history in the 2022 edition. They have successfully booked a place in the semi-finals of the contest.

Given their history, many had written them off in the build-up to their quarterfinal contest against Kumasi Secondary Technical and Ghana Senior High School, Koforidua. Mortifying all pessimists, St. James Seminary, the “Ahoteefo”, has lifted the Bono flag high with a victory!
St. James Seminary will face Kumasi High School and PRESEC, Legon in the second semi-final contest on Sunday.

After a heated contest with Osei Tutu SHS and Ghana National College, St. Augustine’s College booked a place in the semi-finals. St. Augustine’s College will face Adisadel College and Opoku Ware School in the third contest at the semi.
