Ezra Matthew Miller was born in Wyckoff, New Jersey, to Marta (Koch), a modern dancer, and Robert S. Miller, a former senior vice president of Hyperion Books and Workman Publishing. They are the younger of two sisters. Ezra’s father is of Ashkenazi Jewish origin, and his mother is of German-Dutch ancestry; they have defined themselves as Jewish and “spiritual.”

Career

Miller attended Rockland Country Day School and The Hudson School as a youth and sung with the Metropolitan Opera. After appearing in the independent film Afterschool (2008), Miller went on to star in the television shows Californication (2007), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), and Royal Pains (2009), as well as the films City Island (2009), Every Day (2010), Beware the Gonzo (2010), and Another Happy Day (2010). (2011).

In the dramatic thriller We Need to Talk About Kevin, Miller received great acclaim for his performance as Kevin Khatchadourian, the homicidal son of Tilda Swinton’s character (2011). They then starred alongside Logan Lerman and Emma Watson in the well-received teen drama The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012).

Madame Bovary (2014), Judd Apatow’s comedy Trainwreck (2015), and the psychological thriller The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015) are among Ezra’s future roles (2015).
They’ve been cast as The Flash in The Flash (2023), which is set to hit theatres on March 23, 2018.

Nylon Magazine’s Young Hollywood Issue named her one of the 55 faces of the future.  After starting their cinematic acting career with Afterschool, they dropped out of school (The Hudson School) at the age of 16. (2008).

He has two sisters named Saiya Miller and Caitlin Miller. During his childhood, Miller suffered from a speech impediment and took opera singing lessons to overcome it.
Miller began attending The Hudson School after receiving his early education from the Rockland Country Day School. However, he dropped out at the age of 16 after his first film ‘Afterschool’ was released. During the shooting of the film ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’, Miller was caught with 20 grams of marijuana after the vehicle he was traveling in was pulled over for a broken brake light. He was charged with drug possession which was later dropped. Instead, he faced a fine of $600 for two citations of disorderly conduct.
