There are community colleges and schools in Canada for international students in addition to the many top-tier universities available. Community colleges are institutions that provide postsecondary education.
All Canadian community colleges are recognised by the country’s immigration authorities as DLI, and international students are welcome to enrol at any one of them.
A DLI is a school approved by a provincial or territorial government to host international students. All primary and secondary schools in Canada are designated learning institutions.
International students must have finished senior secondary school in their native country in order to enrol in community colleges in Canada.

These Community colleges typically provide diplomas, advanced diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, postgraduate certificates, apprenticeship certifications, and other programmes in addition to bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
The degrees offered by community colleges are not the same as those offered by other universities.
They provide two years of classes before transferring to a university to complete your bachelor’s degree.
Please visit the official websites of these schools to learn more about their admission requirements, tuition, and funding, as well as the tuition fee deposit for international students.
Most schools allow students to make a tuition deposit before they issue a Letter of Acceptance (LOA). The tuition deposit is mostly between CAD $250 and the first-semester tuition fees (it can go as high as CAD 10,000 plus).
A Postgraduate Diploma is considered academically over the level of a Bachelor’s but under a Master’s level. A Postgraduate Diploma can normally be started after the completion of a Bachelor’s degree and is typically completed in one year or less
Postgraduate Certificates are ideal for people who already have work experience and want to advance their careers but don’t have time for a Master’s degree.
